Firearm Transfers
Ironwood Arms is a licensed 07 FFL and we can handle federal paperwork and background checks for firearm transfers. Choose us for fast, friendly, and local service whenever you need to transfer a firearm. Select us as your dealer when purchasing and the gun will be shipped to our address. Please be sure to notify us when you order a firearm so we can prepare for your transfer. Once we receive it, we’ll arrange a time for you to complete the paperwork and background check, then we’ll hand the gun over for you to take home.
$20 per transfer (multiple guns can be transferred in a single visit/transaction)
Utah BCI Background check fee: $12.50 (waived with valid CFP)
National Firearms Act Orders and Transfers
Want to order you first (or next) suppressor, short-barreled firearm, or machine gun? As a Powered By Silencer Shop dealer, Ironwood Arms will assist with the ordering process, paperwork (ATF forms), and transfer. Once the order is placed, the experts at Silencer Shop will work with you (the buyer) and us (the dealer) to complete and submit the necessary paperwork to the ATF. We also accept transfers from other dealers or we can assist with placing an order for the item you want through one of our distributors. NFA approval wait times are faster than ever right now so contact us today to get the process started.

Special Orders and Other Services
Special Orders: Ironwood Arms has established dealer accounts with all major wholesalers and distributors in the gun industry, meaning if you’re looking for a gun, NFA item, optic, accessory, or any combination of these, we can order them for you at a great price. When you have us order for you we’ll handle all the paperwork and there are no transfer fees!
AR-Platform Building/Assembly: We provide one-on-one instructional help with assembly or if you prefer, we can fully build your AR-platform rifle to your specifications and with your parts. We use the highest quality industry specific tools to ensure the best results.
Optic/Scope Mounting: Need a new optic mounted and properly torqued to your firearm? We’re here to help with that. In a short visit, we’ll mount and adjust optics to the correct eye-relief distance and to the correct torque specs. We’ll then bore-sight the optic to save you some ammo at the range!
Limited Inventory and Special Deals
We occasionally carry a limited inventory of firearms and parts used as demos or in photo/video productions. Sometimes we even just order new guns from our distributors because we think they’re neat and want to share them with our customers. These types of items range from silly guns like the .300BLK Rossi Brawler or 16 inch barreled Heritage Rough Rider Revolver to inexpensive hunting rifles/shotguns or extra quantities of AR receivers and accessories. We’re willing to offer these for sale at rock-bottom prices to interested customers.
